AKIBA / Action figures

Action figures, statues and chibi

Figures bring the characters from your favourite stories into your collection. This section of AKIBA’s demo catalog brings together examples of articulated figures, statues and small chibi characters. Filters distinguish the different types, while sample entries introduce each character and series without claiming that any item is available for sale.

Articulated figure or statue?

An articulated figure generally lets you change its pose using movable joints, while a statue has a fixed pose. Chibi describes a simplified style, often with a large head and small body. Always check the specific edition’s dimensions, materials, accessories and features before choosing: a category name alone does not tell the whole story.

Helpful answers before exploring the collection.

Not yet. AKIBA is a preview with a demo collection: products, prices and images illustrate the future store. You can explore categories, save favourites and try the cart, but orders and payments are not enabled.

What is the difference between an action figure and a statue?

An articulated figure generally allows you to change its pose using movable joints. A statue has a fixed pose. Features vary between products, so always check the specific edition’s details.

What does chibi mean?

Chibi is a style with simplified or exaggerated proportions, often featuring a large head relative to the body. It describes a character’s appearance, not its material, size or whether the figure has movable joints.
